Plan B

It's been an adventure in patience if nothing else. Thanks to Delta we
are in the "Comfort" Inn which is reminscent of the place they turned
the holy family away from- there seems to be something resembling a
barn out the window. We've been told we are near the airport but none
us know for sure as the shuttle driver crammed so many of us in that
it felt like we were cattle being loaded in for our last ride to
auction. Our day has been filled with strange issues. Delta's
marketing strategy is baffling. Apparently it is more cost effective
to leave 10 minutes early and not wait on 18 passengers than to put
them up in a hotel, feed them on $6.00 vouchers and hold their luggage
hostage. We did, however, all end up with nifty travel bags
containing: a toothbrush, a deodorant, and a t-shirt. If they strand
us another day, we are expecting sweatpants and small doses of Xanax.
We will spend tomorrow at the Atlanta airport shopping in the duty
free store and taking turns in the massage chair at brookstone.
We will keep you updated!

Hey,

I know that you're true adventurers and ready for anything that may come down the pike. Kudos on getting past the first hurdle as I'm sure there will be more to come. Enjoy your time in Rome and Florence! Hope France at least had some tasty food! Ciao
